Letters of Discipline History

A letter of discipline history is a letter from the Court indicating an attorney’s current bar status with the NDNY and that attorney’s disciplinary history or lack thereof. A request for a Letter of Discipline History must be submitted to the Court electronically by completing the form through E-Requests selecting "Attorney Discipline History" as the request type. Be sure to include instructions in the comments section as to how you wish to receive the letter ie. via email or regular U.S. Postal mail. If you prefer the Court to forward your letter directly to an agency or bar examiner, please include their address in the comments section. Upon receipt of your submission, you will receive an email containing a secure link to pay the required fee through Pay.gov. Once payment is made, the Court will forward the letter in accordance with the requestor’s instructions in the comments.
