The Local Rules Committee for the Northern District of New York is soliciting comments to the proposed amendments to the Local Rules of Practice. If you wish to comment on the proposed amendments to the Local Rules of Practice adopted by the Rules Committee, you may do so via email at LocalRulesProposal@nynd.uscourts.gov. Comments to amendments must be received no later than the close of business on Friday, August 21, 2026 to receive consideration. The amendments are set to be adopted effective January 1, 2027.
